terms:  visa, master card, american express, N30 (must submit credit application for approval)
opening orders credit card ONLY.  sorry, no exceptions.
made-to-order & custom items require a 50% non-refundable credit card deposit to be charged before production begins. balance is due in full at time of shipping.

credit card required when order is placed. order will not be processed until credit card is on file (card will not be charged until order ships, but must be on file for order to be processed).  it is the customer’s responsibility to call with this information!

$30 NSF fee will apply to returned checks.
declined credit card orders not resolved within 5 business days will be restocked (meaning that merchandise will go to another customer) and subject to a 15% restocking fee.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  backorders:
all backorders will remain open unless we hear otherwise.  items will ship as they come in. 

cancelled orders:
since design legacy produces to order, cancellations received after orders have been placed are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

shipping:
10% minimum shipping and handling fee will be applied to all invoices.  additional charges will apply to oversized or extremely heavy items, as well as to LTL freight shipments (furniture etc.)

returns:
damages and shortages must be reported within 72 hours of receipt.  returns will not be accepted without a “return authorization number” provided by Design Legacy.

general returns:
15% restocking fee will apply if order has been invoiced
15% restocking fee and return shipping will apply if order has been shipped
all credits applied upon receipt on returned merchandise

variations and standards:
minor substitutions may occur based on availability
we do our best to maintain pillow faces.  however, backings and trims may vary on rare occasions
design legacy values the hand-crafted nature of our products; therefore variations in finishes may exist
we are required by the U.S. government to attach a fill tag on our soft goods produced
